What is "Grid of Shadows"?

Grid of Shadows is a fast, tense card game played on a 3×3 grid where you bluff, sabotage, and outwit your friends - then shout “Lights!” to catch liars (or get caught yourself).
Each turn, you add to a shared 3×3 grid, playing cards truthfully… or not. Think you’ve sniffed out a lie? Call “Lights!” and flip the script - if you’re right, you punish the bluffer; if you’re wrong, enjoy the burn. Rounds fly, tension climbs, and every table talk eyebrow raise suddenly matters.
At the end of the round - if no one calls “Lights!” or someone calls it and gets it wrong - the card’s effect kicks in. Some of these are deliberately rough: small taxes and twists that pressure you to bluff just to ditch them (looking at you, 9 that makes you pick up two cards). They keep the table tight, the stories loud, and every decision deliciously risky.
It is design-tight and social by nature: quick to learn, viciously replayable, and perfect for couples, game nights, or that “one more” showdown.
Tested across family nights and hobby groups - welcomes newcomers and keeps veterans engaged with quick rounds and sharp reads.
